They perform classic style arrangements with a modern twist, making them the perfect choice for Corporate Functions and Private events; Weddings; Festivals and Parties; Whether you want to celebrate the Gatsby Glamour Era or 1940s/WWII & 1950’s, The Hummingbirds will tailor their show for you exact requirements. The Hummingbirds, Clara, Bettie & Grace are three exceptionally talented singers and performers whose stunning close harmonies and arrangements have been expertly crafted to WOW. They LOVE being Hummingbirds and that love is infectious to all who have the pleasure of seeing and hearing them perform. We also have a vintage truck we have lovingly named Herman that can be hired as a stage for outdoor events. See the gallery for photographs taken when we have been out on tour with him. The Hummingbirds can be self contained with their own PA & lighting and offer several complete entertainment packages. All will be delivered with Hummingbird flair. Glamorous costumes abound for your 1920's; 1930's; 1940s; 1950s; parties and events. How a typical package looks: - 3 x c.25 minute sets performed in 3 different costumes. Tailored backing music provided between sets. - 2 x c.45 minute sets performed in 2 different costumes. Tailored backing music provided between sets. The above are delivered over professional backing tracks. - Swing band option available on request. The Hummingbirds work with incredibly talented musicians who can be available for larger functions and events. Fancy something a little different ? Why Not! Professional dancers can be added to any of our packages:- Encourage the dancing - Teach the revellers how to do some professional moves and Swing, Swing, Swing whilst we Sing, Sing, Sing :) If space is tight and budget is more limited we also offer duo options, and Grace flies solo as Gemma Ruby.

Having recently booked the Hummingbirds, I can highly recommend them for their professionalism & talent. Once the booking was confirmed I was in contact with one of the trio and they were very hospitable towards myself and the requirements I had. As for the acts performed, I couldn't fault them. They are clearly very talented ladies and I wish them luck in their future success.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

We start as a trio with professionally mastered backing tracks. Duo option available and Grace also performs solo. We can be accompanied by our fabulous pianist and also a band 3 - 5 piece. Dancers too if you so wish.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

In between our sets we do - this is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. However if you'd like a music via our PA after the final set for up to one hour in total before & after our performance, we provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We can set up in 45 minutes comfortable and then need to change - 1.5 hrs total if we have travelled far... slightly less if not.

Can you roam around while you perform?

No. We work with traditional style Microphones that are fixed We do have on stage choreography which is very much a show.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Very happy to talk and tailor our sets to suit the occasion best.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes unless the venue is such that we need to bring a sound man and additional PA & Lighting. Ours caters up to a room of 500. we need 3mx3m performance area. If the stage has a pelmet, we would most likely need additional PA

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The blend of our voices; the professional level of polish to our performances; our dresses :) The mix of traditional and modern vintage music tailored to suit their event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Mainly private Parties, events, Festivals and Weddings from deepest, darkest Cornwall to Pembrookshire. Performing at Twinwood Festival in August 2019.

All the classics; The Andrew Sisters; The Chordettes; Dinah Shore; Ella Fizgerald; Frank Sinatra; Caro Emerald; Scott Bradleys Post Modern Jukebox
