The Highway Sun is a collective of pro musicians from West Sussex brought together by ex Alvin Stardust guitarist Stu Barbour through their love of country music. As well performing their own original songs they can play a mix of many well known country songs from artists like Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Darius Rucker, Eagles, Billy Ray Cirus, Chris Stapleton, Tracy Byrd, Tyler Hubbard, The Mavericks and many more.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Played guitar for an event at Wembley Stadium and also at The Royal Albert Hall.

Do you have different line-up options?

We are a four piece band that includes singer/guitarist, bass player, keyboard player/singer and drummer. We also have the option of adding a female singer and also sax player.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try to be as flexible as possible, let us know any changes.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we will play a music mix before and between sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

One hour is usually enough time.

Can you roam around while you perform?

No, we are fixed in place.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We work hard at having a good set that gets people dancing (unless a quieter set is required for background which we can easily do), but you can certainly highlight some favourites that you definitely would like played.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA is included and we will bring some lighting too.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is a special song you would like that is not on our list then we can usually learn it for you if we know in advance. There is a fee of £30 for this.
