Surprisingly, they really are a family! Amanda is Mum to co-lead singer Lorien and lead guitarist Sky, and together they form a unique and independent Folk/Rock Band with a passion for music. Hailing originally from Herts and Essex UK, they have since migrated to the wilds of Mid-Wales. The folk roots run deep through this two-generation band, which is apparent in their style of writing and musical content, and with four previous generations of professional singers (that can be traced so far), they couldn't really do anything else!

The Fireside Family's Reviews

The Fireside family live session was quite simply enchanting.... They entranced us with brilliant harmonies - at times extremely complex and technically difficult- and their choice of material was by turns refreshing and traditional. The guitar work was sensitive and effective and the a capella numbers were to die for. This was folk music at it's finest. The very best part is that they now all live in Wales so let the dragon roar!
