We are The Embers- A Six piece Blues Rock band from the North East of England. We perform music purely for our love of entertaining, and our love for the blues. Blues, although it is not as popular in the modern day, is the reason we created our ensemble. We all share a love for classic 60’s Blues Rock, and decided to pay homage to the genre by the creation of our band. We take inspiration from artists such as Eric Clapton, The Beatles, B.B king, Albert King and The Rolling Stones. We first became The Embers in early 2024, after recognising our shared interest in 60s/70s musical culture. We have performed at over 20+ different venues over the course of our time together as a band, reaching many different audiences and making wonderful memories for those watching. We have all completed a Level 3 Diploma in music, and are now all working towards a degree in The Modern Music Industries. Multiple of our members have experience in sound technology, sound engineering and music tuition. Although we primarily focus on Blues Rock, we enjoy catering towards any sort of venue, audience or genre. We can provide all of our own equipment, including a drum kit, PA system, Amplifiers and Mixers. Our most memorable performing experience was earlier this year, in Seville, Spain. We performed at a bar called “Los Cuatro Gatos” in the city centre, gathering a sizeable audience to accompany us on one of our first international performances. We are available most weekends, and are always looking for new venues and events to perform at. We are more than happy to perform for special occasions, such as Weddings, birthdays and other parties. If you love Blues Rock as much as us, please consider us for your next event!

Next came The Embers who introduced themselves as 'friends from college'. They played an entire set of covers which I didn't mind, especially as the songs they chose were different to the usual fare. We were treated to 'Come Together', 'All Along The Watchtower' and 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' among others. They are four young men and one young woman just starting out and they all seem very talented so I hope they quickly find their own sound and the confidence to play their own stuff.

I thought they were blooming excellent. Their choice of songs and delivery was spot on. Every one I talked to remarked how good the band was. A breath of fresh air. So if you could pass my thanks on I would appreciate it mate.
