With over 20 years of experience in the wedding entertainment industry, Eddie has become renowned for his high-quality wedding bands. The Eddie Seales Band play an unrivalled mix of Soul, Motown, Blues, Funk, Rock n Roll, Disco, Pop, Rhythm & Blues & favourites from the 60s through to the present. Take a look at their songlist and judge for yourself! They are available for hire at corporate functions, private parties, weddings, pubs, clubs and Universities. Fronting the band is the soulful lead vocalist Martin, who is backed by Mal (Drums), Jim (Bass), Dan (Guitar) and Ivan (Multi Keyboards), three of whom also perform backing vocals. They are joined by Neil (Trumpet) and Edd (Sax). Together, they make a sound big enough to fill any venue. The band typically play for 120 minutes in 2, 3 or any combination of sets as required. They can also provide music on CD or MP3 for in-between sets. They will provide their own PA and light show facilities as appropriate to the venue and the needs of the function. Visually, they can dress in formal attire as required. All bookings are subject to contract. Equipment safety (PAT) tested. The PA system is inclusive. Stage lighting inclusive. Note: we can't always guarantee that particular band members will be available. The Eddie Seales Band is actually many groups in one: A solo pianist for a wedding reception, a sax, flute or trumpet to play in church, a small Jazz group to play smooth/background dinner music and a Function and Wedding band guaranteed to fill the dancefloor. I have booked Eddie and the band numerous times for various functions over the past 6 years. Always immaculately presented and professional in every way. Coms when booking are excellent and again professional. The party band is great for that informal function, party family, wedding or any event you may be considering, we have usually had the 7 piece band who are great live music at its best with good brass players as part of the set up. The singer is a standout great voice and really makes the function flow. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We always had a great night when we have booked. For the ultimate experience we have also booked The Eddie Seales Big Band 18 players strong and the sound is unbelievable. All the classic big band songs from such as Gen Miller ( my favourite ) to all the other big bands from that era. We booked them for my Daughters Wedding. They played 2 sets as the big band and then broke down to the party band for the final set. Need a decent size hall to get the maximum effect but truly worthwhile in the right venue. Always smart in appearance, always ready to play by the agreed time I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We couldn't have picked a better band to celebrate with on our wedding day. From the very first contact Eddie was professional and easy to get along with, and couldn't have been more clear about the process. The band were accommodating of any requests and even helped to make suggestions to get the perfect set list. On the night they set up quickly and without causing any kind of disturbance - you wouldn't have known they were there. The music was of the highest standard and had everybody dancing along, and the interaction with the crowd was spot on. The only downside was that it had to end. Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.”

Do you have different line-up options?

No.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.”

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide pre-recorded music between sets. If you have a particular playlist you can send it through to us a few days before the event.

How much time do you need to set up?

Our usual set-up time is 1.5 hours and we aim to leave the premises within an hour of finishing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3m by 5m space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you at no extra cost.
