ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! The Double Takes are the most phenomenal duo. They have such a huge repertoire that there is something for everyone. Add this to their sassy and stylish interpretation of the pieces and you have a magical evening to truly remember. They delivered with ease a really special finale to my 50th birthday day of celebrations - singing to a small intimate group outside, dancing under the stars. Alicia and Steve you are amazing and all my guests loved you too. THANK YOU. Louise xxx

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

We are an acoustic duo made up of Alicia (Vocals) and Steve (Guitar). However, we do have different instrumentation options available! Depending on your set choice, we can incorporate a range of instruments including Alto Sax, Electric Guitar, Ukulele and percussion to become more than your average acoustic duo.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will always try to accommodate any changes. All we ask is sufficient notice for planning ahead to make your event run as smoothly as possible!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Certainly! We offer a free of charge playlist service via our PA during our breaks and prior to our sets. If needed after our set time, we charge a small additional fee.

How much time do you need to set up?

Not long at all! Depending on our set up, it averages about 30-45mins. Fully acoustic gigs set up takes 10 mins. Whilst setting up, we are happy to provide a free playlist/DJ service.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes! We can do a fully acoustic roaming set.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. We take requests with plenty of notice, but the set can change depending on your requested set-up (multiple instruments or fully acoustic). We will chat this through with you beforehand to make sure we find what works for your event :)

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes! Our PA is included in our quote. We don't take up a lot of room, but let us know the performance space dimensions as our set up may vary depending on size.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! Aisle walk and first dance requests are included in our price. If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it, but we need plenty of notice as our rehearsal time is limited.
