The Dandy Lyons

We have provided the evening entertainment during the Irish Open at Portrush, the Christmas Lights Shows in a number of towns, the weekend evening slots at the Red Sails Festival and North West 200.

We are a 7-piece live band. The core Dandy Lyons sound is the harmonies from our lead vocalist and backing vocalists backed by a solid rhythm section and lead guitarist. We can offer a 3-piece option with acoustic guitar, lead and backing vocals or a 9-piece with brass section and keyboards while keeping the harmonic essence of The Dandy Lyons Sound.

We will be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. For weddings, we aim to arrive one and a half hours after the meal start time so we are ready to set up as soon as the meal and speeches finish. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

We will require at least an hour to set up and sound check before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. We aim to enjoy the gig as much as the guests and the best way to do this is to have the dance floor full.

If a song isn't included in our song list we may still already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc. Alternatively, we can play your preferred version of your special First Dance song on MP3 through our PA at no extra.
