The Crofters

The band originated in memory of my late grandfather who was in a folk band called “The Crofters” back in the day, 2 cousins Andy Brown and Craig McCafferty took their talents to follow in his foot steps. Playing high energy Irish and Scottish folk songs along side all the big heavy hitting pub tunes. Crowd work is also a key part of the bands nature inviting people up to keep a beat along with the signature tambourine which helps get everyone dancing along. Craig has unfortunately left due to work commitments but Andy has stayed locked in with a looping pedal to help bring the same energy produced from two, into one. Still in an active search to bring more musicians into the band Andy can hold the performance solely for the time being by delivering the exact same vibe for any crowd. Playing big Irish and Scottish folk tunes is the forte of the band, as well as the classic pub song list we hold caters for everyone in the crowd. Known for playing the songs you want to hear, but also playing the songs you need to hear.
