That 80s Thing have over 30 years of experience between them as professional musicians, touring in bands too many to mention. The band have chosen some of their favourite floor fillers to bring to your party so dancing is a given. Expect songs by everyone from Duran Duran to Prince, via Culture Club, Erasure, David Bowie the list goes on. Past clients include John Lewis Partnership, Waitrose, Tesco, Virgin Trains, De La Rue plc, Genting Casinos, Chorley F.C., Bury F.C. & many more. Bookings can include a DJ style music playback service with an extensive library of tunes to request so music remains constant throughout your event. Fully self contained with state of the art, PAT tested PA & light show, the band and hold current public liability insurance for your peace of mind.

I booked Bourbon Street Party for my 40th birthday. From enquiry to booking, it was a seamless process. The play list was quickly sent and suited our taste in music brilliantly. On the night the guys arrived early and were set up ready to go. The music was great and got everyone up. For any event, BSP are recommended. I will certainly book them again. Banging tunes!! What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our authentic 80s sound is second to none. It took year to get it right and its noticeable! You won't be disappointed.

Everyone that brought out a record in the 1980s!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Absolute 80s Weekender, Rewind Festival, Glastonbury!

Do you have different line-up options?

No. Unfortunately our sound is created live on stage with a minimum of 4 musicians.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's fine, just let us know in advance but please remember for early arrivals a surcharge is applicable.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, please see our additional charges for DJ style music playback service.

How much time do you need to set up?

We require a minimum of 90mins to set up the band, PA system and lights and a 5 min soundcheck is essential.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes, our lead singer is able to move around with in reason and will interact with your guests.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Unfortunately not. Our 80s set is a well oiled machine and come complete with choreographed light show. Just hit the dance floor and let us worry about the set list!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, our equipment is state of the art and is regularly PAT tested and carries full insurance.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we'll throw in 1 requested song for free so make it a good one! Please give a minimum of 1 months notice.
