Hi there! If you're planning a party, you've got something to celebrate and I would love to help you do that! I have been providing live music at all sorts of events since 2002 and have never let anyone down. Getting married? I can blend into the background with some classy jazz standards. Turning 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 or 80? I've got you covered with some Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, Adele, Ed Sheeran or whatever floats your boat. Work or launch event? Just tell me what it's about and we can tailor a set list around the theme. My musical journey started at the University of Birmingham, where I majored in saxophone performance and started gigging at large balls. Since then, I have played at festivals, restaurants, vineyards, castles, stately homes, hotels, home birthday parties, hen dos, anniversaries, business dinners and even a stag do on the beach. Musically, there are usually two main options: jazz standards and pop/rock. For the first option, I play along to backing tracks; for the second, I jam along to pop tracks. My technical set-up is very simple and takes around 10 minutes. I don't even need a plug! So, if you love the sound of the sax and want someone friendly and flexible to bring your event to life, look no further.

Lovely polite guy who played exactly what we wanted. My only criticism is could do with a microphone on the saxophone as it was overpowered by the backing tracks. Apart from that we couldn’t fault the event. Thank you Tom

All very easy to book and good communication throughout and directly with Tom. We were disappointed that the sound track was so loud as would have liked to heard more of the sax playing, a lot of people commented thinking the DJ was still playing music! However everyone enjoyed it and Tom was prompt, courteous and played some good music. Thank you

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Since I am university-trained and have 15 years' experience, I am a highly-proficient saxophonist and guests like the quality of my performances. I have a good soul music set list that goes down very well with audiences, with tunes such as Uptown Funk, Superstition, Happy, Lovely Day, Treasure, Celebration, We Are Family, Boogie Wonderland, etc.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Back in the day, I was involved with a band that played at a festival with an audience of around 8000. Since then, I was lucky enough to play at a wedding at BAFTA headquarters in London.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

How much time do you need to set up?

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes. For an extra charge, I can put together a bespoke playlist for you or even buy new music for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. I have a pretty simple set-up with saxophone, music stand, tablet and small speaker. The speaker can even run on batteries if there is no plug. I can also bring a microphone if you would like to make announcements, but I need to know about this in advance.
