Started in 2005 modway is a culmination of having been in several bands over the years . My solo show allows me to perform on a regular basis in all types of venues across the south east and London . I choose to play the 60’s beat & 70’s mod revival, Because it’s the best musical period and genre . Coupled with the 80’s Reggae two tone /.ska and 90’s Brit pop period . All of my songs are carefully constructed backing tracks with harmony vocals and instruments produced by myself . Which free’s me up to be the front man that I am 😎 Great for pubs, clubs and private party events that want the full band experience on a budget without the headache and financial restraints or space required to accommodate a band these days So If you like : the Jam , the Beatles , the Kinks , the Who , the Small faces , the searchers . The clash , kaiser chiefs , Paul weller , madness , the specials , Ub40 , bob Marley . Etc Then modway is the man for you ! With a wealth of talent and experience that spans over 4 decades you won’t be disappointed with the delivery of this exceptional talent” . Book him today ! 😎

Stuart was absolutely fantastic. Very easy to get along with and very versatile when initially putting together the repertoire. As his ability and range spans several decades Altered his set list according to guest requests. His quality and energy gave the party that extra special feel. Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Slight adjustments in running order or times are natural and understandable . I will always endeavour to work with you . Once a booking has been confirmed you can contact me directly to make any adjustments .

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes . I alwys have a playlist of songs that are suitable to the music I am providing both before during and after my sets . . Plus party playlists from The 00’s . And 70’s disco classics . For fun and frolics

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually I would require one hour in which to get in , set up and sound check And have an atmosphere play list ready for guests. An adequate space cleared and ready for me to set up with one small table is always of great help . .

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Within reason yes . ! Some people prefer to hear more of one genre than another . For example if you want more 50’s than 70’s or less regggae and more brit pop . This can be discussed and arranged at the booking stage Specific songs can be requested in advance and I will always do my best to accommodate

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes I do . As a self contained, hi tech solo guitarist and singer . I bring with me all of my own equipment including Vox amps shure microphones fender guitars Electro voice speakers and a peavey mixer . lights and colour drapes ( where appropriate )

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I always say if it is within my vocal range or ability as an artist I will endeavour to provide at least one song for a specific occasion . I would rather know in advance than people coming up to me for requests during my performance .

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My energy and commitment . People are usually very impresssed by my vocal prowess . I have had both vocal and performance training in arts and theatre . Studied a Btec diploma in music

Which venues have you performed at in the past?
