Ashford
Kent based performing as an acoustic duo, trio quartet or 5/6 piece band

We are husband and wife who started performing as an acoustic duo in 2014. Since then we have played at a number of open mics, local pubs, festivals, garden parties and charity events. We play a wide variety of covers as well as our own material. We expanded and formed a 5 piece band in 2016 with Rob Brown on lead guitar, Sarah Pinkstone on Bass and in 2016 we recorded our first EP Journeys with Gordon Stone on drums. Some of our highlights to date are performing at Create Music Festival, Ashford in 2015 as a trio with Andy Wiggins on djembe and Aldington SoapBox Derby as an acoustic duo. Folkestone YARP Festival with Phil Anderson on drums, Red Roar Festival, Gravesend with Rob, Sarah and Gordon Stone on drums and Ashford Rugby Club Beer Festival as an acoustic duo in 2016. 2017 Rochester Sweeps Festival with Rob, Sarah and Andy on djembe, Tentertainment, Festival in the Park and Folkestone Trawler Race with Adrian Madden on drums, Jam at The Farm as an acoustic duo, StarFest 2015, 2016, 2017, LoftyFest 2016, 2017, 2018. In 2018 we played at Rochester Sweeps festival and Ales by the Rails with Rob Brown on lead guitar and Andy Wiggins on djembe, Ashford Festival in the Park with Gordon back on drums and Dominic on bass, Create Music Festival with Andy Wiggins on djembe, SwanFest, Whitstable Oyster Festival, the War and Peace Show at the Hop Farm Paddock Wood and Hawkinge Music Festival, Jam at the Farm as an acoustic duo and ColeFest with Dominic Stone on drums, Sarah Pinkstone on bass and Rob Brown on lead electric guitar. Over the last few years we have also made numerous radio appearances including Down the Pub radio, Radio Ashford 107.1FM, Folkestone Academy FM and Medway Hospital Radio, and more recently BBC Radio Kent. We decided to focus on finishing off some more original material during 2018 and have just spent time in the recording studio recording our second EP - What would you say...? with Dan Lucas at Anchor Baby Recording which was released on 17th November 2018. 2019 will see Dominic move to keys to add a new dimension to the band, we welcome back Gordon on drums, Sarah remains on bass, Rob lead guitar and of course Stella and Jim! We will be working on more original material to add to the 10 originals we currently perform and will be focusing more on performing and showcasing our original material.

Hi Stella/Jim Thanks again for performing for us yesterday. Everyone really enjoyed your music and were still talking about you late into the night. Thanks also for getting the kids involved too, they will remember and talk about that for ages. Hope you had a great evening. Hope to see you both again sometime. Many thanks Ian
