Sreenivas Ramakrishnan

Sreenivas Ramakrishnan is a student pursuing his master’s in mechanical engineering in the UK. He lives in the UK and has had music in his family right from a very young age. Seeing his keen interest in music, his parents helped him to hone his skills further, providing opportunities to take training in Carnatic, Hindustani, Western classical music and in Western Piano. He has been invited by the BBC Asian Network to render Bollywood songs. He has been a part of choirs as a lead singer and performed at various venues in the UK. His passion for music and training in rhythms helps him to deliver music and Mridangam workshops in schools to children of all abilities. He listens to a variety of genres and continues to seek inspiration by listening to music of stalwarts, both Classical and Film Music. Sreenivas has helped raise funds for charities and noble causes since he was in school. Recently, during the lockdown, he participated to raise funds for Charity for COVID 19 through his music, by presenting covers of various Bollywood songs on his Channel
