First and foremost ‘We Love What We Do’ and you will too. Southern Bound formed to bring you the best in Country Rock & Rock’n’Roll and our gigs always leave the audience wanting more. We have done Weddings, Parties, Club Nights, Outdoor Events and will play anywhere you want us. Our Vocalist JP has an insane range from hitting the low notes of Johnny Cash to being able to hit the high notes of Carrie Underwood. You will not be disappointed with his powerful vocals. Our Rhythm and Bass Guitarists went to school together and have played in bands together since the 80s and made an appearance on top of the pops. Our Lead Guitarist Dave has played all types of music over the years and brings his days of heavy rock to make the sounds of a true guitar legend. Our Drummer Bob brings a solid backing to any band and not only can he drum he can harmonise too, making Bob one of our all rounders to our 3 - 4 part harmonies. We provide our own PA, Lights and Amazing Hair (Courtesy of bass Player Ian). So whatever you want or need, let us know and we aim to accommodate in anyway we can. Whether that’s a special song for a first dance or you just like something a little different, let us know and we will see what we can do.

We hired Southern Bound for my sisters 40th birthday which was country and western themed. We couldn’t have picked a better band, everyone was up dancing all night from the first song. All our guests were asking for another hour! Thank you so much for such a great night. Everyone of the band was really friendly and nice, we will definitely recommend you to anyone and will hire you again in the future. Thanks Debbie xxx

This fine Country Rock/Rock'n'Roll band. Powerful vocals from front man 'JP', great harmonies and musicianship from the rest of the band. They always draw a good audience and keep the dance floor busy.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our vocalist and harmonies. JP has an amazing powerful voice and the harmonies always compliment. Plus we always get people dancing.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at all different venues from Clubs, Pubs, Festivals, Fetes to National Trusts and weddings.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I would say a mix of 90s country like Travis Tritt to modern artists like Luke Combs.

Do you have different line-up options?

We tend to always come as a 5 piece band to give the best sound we can for your occasion.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are happy to accommodate timing changes for the day itself. When you book us, yours will be the only event we will have booked on that day.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we can, we will connect an iPad with a playlist. This can be our playlist of choice or we can work with you to create the playlist you will like. This will be connected through our PA system.

How much time do you need to set up?

We are very quick at setting up and can be ready to go with our sound check within an hour.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yeah our lead singer loves to involve the audience especially in the numbers everyone knows and we have even had the bride up on stage singing with JP.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Definitely, our set lists always vary depending on what is required and we would be happy to discuss these with you to make sure you have the best time.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes it is, you get everything from us included in every quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We love doing this, whether it’s a first dance song, a song with special meaning or one you just absolutely love. We would allowed 3-4 songs included for free in our pricing.
