About Us Souled Out was started in June 2003 by Johnny Cat & Dave Fish. The original idea of the band was to play top quality soul & Disco music in the local pubs. After a few rehearsals, the name Souled Out was registered with the patent office and the band played their first few gigs. Word soon got round and bookings started coming in from such popular venues as The Starlite Rooms in Enfield and the Circus Tavern in Purfleet supporting all the main comedians – Jimmy Jones, Bobby Davro, Mike Reid, Michael Barrymore, Chubby Brown. ​Twenty years on and the band have gone on to play at venues like Birmingham NEC, Wembley Arena, Knebworth and Earls Court as well as all the top hotels in the UK and Europe including The Grosvenor Mayfair, The London Metropole, The Ritz in Portugal, Hilton Prague and are the only band to have played New Years Eve at Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai three years running. Souled Out are regular headline acts at Butlins working alongside artists such as The Real Thing, Jimmy James, The Temptations featuring the amazing Richard Street and the great Ray Lewis with Still Drifting. Over the years they’ve played with Jools Holland, Sir Tom Jones, Dina Carroll, Sam Brown, Boney M and The Darkness. ​Souled out are renowned for being one of the best Function party bands in London Essex and Hertfordshire.
