The Sorelli Ensemble is a collective of musicians, forming different ensembles from solo violin, cello or piano to piano trio. We offer a variety of styles to suit any occasion and pride ourselves on the quality of our performances. We offer a tailored and personalised service for our clients, with ensembles located across the UK. Having established groups allows clients to connect with our musicians during the booking process, ensuring a personal experience along the way. My husband and I hired Sorelli Ensemble (piano and cello duo) for our wedding in November, and we were absolutely blown away by their service. From the initial contact and planning stages through to the performance on the day, the care, passion and attention to detail shown by the entire team were exceptional. Julia was a fantastic guide, helping us plan the perfect music for our big day. She put us completely at ease and truly went the extra mile to ensure every little detail was in place for a smooth performance. The pre-wedding video call with Mark (pianist) to run through technical details was an excellent touch. On the wedding day itself, Mark and Jenny (cellist) were superb. They arrived well-dressed and with ample time, blending seamlessly into the background. We were incredibly impressed with their musicianship, and many of our guests commented on how beautiful and elegant the music was. We are so grateful to Sorelli Ensemble for everything, and we would unreservedly recommend them for any future events.

We had Sorelli Ensemble play at our wedding and they were amazing! Music was fab and all our guests enjoyed it 😊 The only bit of feedback I had was that the music could have been a bit louder, as you had to be standing fairly close to hear the it (we were at an outside venue - I think it would be fine inside). I’ve passed it on and they said they will get some amplification for their set up! Based on that, would book again 😊

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The quality of our players and performances shine through and our professionalism at our events is very valued by our clients. We also try to fit in with the colour palettes of the event...even our pianist matches his tie! This is all very appreciated and elevates our presentation and performances.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Our Solo Violinist performed at Kendall Calling with Tim Burgess and our players have also performed at the Proms in the Royal Albert Hall. Most recently we performed for a well known celebrity wedding.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes! We can offer ensembles from Solo to Trio. We have the following ensembles available: Solo Violin - with or without backing tracks/acoustic or amplified Solo Cello - with or without backing tracks/acoustic or amplified Solo Piano Violin & Cello Duo Electric Violin Duo Violin & Piano Cello & Piano Piano Trio - Violin, Cello & Piano

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's not a problem. All bookings are completely flexible up to the date the final balance is due so if clients would like to change our timings or even the ensemble they have booked, this isn't a problem.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, if requested.

How much time do you need to set up?

We arrive at our bookings 1 hour prior to our start time.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Our Electric Violin Duo do but our other ensembles do not.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes of course! We work with our clients to ensure that the perfect soundtrack is created for their event. We send out a music choices form upon booking which clients can fill out with their favourite songs and create a playlist for us to work through.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We charge £50 extra for the use of our amps.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes absolutely! We just ask that special requests are confirmed as soon as possible to as to allow us enough time to both write our parts and practise these for you. This comes at an extra cost of £50 per song requested.
