Sophistication Strings comprises a pool of highly trained and experienced professional string players who perform in top UK orchestras such as City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra and London Concert Orchestra. Crossover and commercial experience includes work with artists such as Robbie Williams, Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson and Blake. We have also provided backing strings for the X factor and been invited to take part in ITV1's 'May The Best House Win'. All Sophistication Strings' musicians have extensive experience of the wedding and events industry and have performed at high-end Corporate events all over the UK and abroad. In addition to this, we all give solo and chamber music recitals regularly and have worked extensively in the session and recording industries. Sophistication String Quartet and String Trio/Duo performs at weddings, functions and corporate events all over the UK. The Quartet has an extensive repertoire, including classical and light classical works, jazz standards, show tunes and pop arrangements. We will also consider any requests you may have. Sophistication String Quartet/Trio performs many pop songs and jazz standards that are specially arranged. We are completely mobile and require no power supply, which makes us an ideal choice for a civil ceremony or a summer wedding or event, where guests may move outside for drinks and back inside for dinner. The quartet, trio or duo have the flexibility not only to play classical music but also lighter, jazzier music during drinks and dinner. We can easily accompany an instrumental or vocal soloist Our space requirements are minimal and we are ideal for smaller events, parties and weddings. Our repertoire is extensive.
