After teaching in Secondary schools for a few years, I've decided it's time for a change of scenery! I'm a classically trained singer with ABRSM Grades in singing, cello and piano, and am happy to be hired as a soloist or to work with other musicians of your choosing. As most of my vocal training has been in Classical music, I specialise in Baroque and Classical era opera arias, Romantic era art songs, and can sing Contemporary Classical pieces as I have perfect pitch. Other genres in my vocal repertoire include Jazz, Musical Theatre and Pop, and I can even do covers of your favourite songs in a different style upon request. As I speak Spanish, French and conversational Korean, I can learn and perform songs other languages at request (as long as I'm given enough time to learn them!). In terms of cello and piano, however, it's just a matter of sending me the list of pieces long enough before your event for me to learn them. I can even do covers of movie, videogame and TV themes if you want! I'm still in the process of getting new headshots, and my Public Liability Insurance is being organised by the Independant Society of Musicians. Watch this space!
