We perform a wide variety of music from beautiful samba and Bossa Nova tunes by legendary Brazilian composers, such as Jorge Ben, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Caetano Veloso and Djavan through to contemporary Brazilian music by Hermeto Pascoal and Luciana Souza. We are highly experienced musicians and have performed at some renowned venues and numerous events all over the world from São Paulo, Tokyo to London. With Yuko's background in jazz, she has performed at some London's renowned jazz clubs such as Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, 606 Jazz Club, Vortex jazz club and The Spice of Life Soho as well as JazzB (São Paulo) and Beco das Garrafas (Rio de Janeiro) in Brazil and takes her jazz approach to the Brazilian music. Ife, the guitarist, has been professionally performing Bossa Nova in Rio de Janeiro since 1970 and has recorded and toured with Brazil’s most acclaimed artists including Naná Vasconcelos, Toninho Horta, Nara Leao and João Donato to name a few. He also has released his own remarkable albums ‘Você Passou Aqui’ and ‘Brazil in Black and White’. We can also be available in trio and quartet with sax, bass and percussion.

We hired Leve for a memorial service in honour of our friend. They were very friendly and played beautiful songs for us to relax to. The highlight was a song requested by us that they performed perfectly. They were also very understanding, patient, respectful, and supportive to us in pulling off the event despite some clumsy organisation on our part. Thank you very much Leve! Do you have different line-up options?

We can also be available in a trio with voice / guitar / sax or percussion and a quartet with voice / guitar / sax and percussion

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! We play a playlist specifically made for the events during our breaks.

How much time do you need to set up?

Setup : 60 mins required Performance : 50 mins x2 sets with a short break in between

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We will bring our own PA system. Require a plug point and at least 2m for duo performance space. For trio / quartet, we'd like around 3~4m space. Access to a room for change would be desirable.
