Skylark Trio

We are at the forefront of the new wave of young Gypsy Jazz players in the U.K. We have had residencies at numerous London venues and between us have toured Europe and featured on recordings of some prestigious artists, we have also hosted a fair few jam sessions in great venues across the country. We play a variety of styles, ranging from Classical, to Modern Jazz, Bebop, Balkan Folk, Swing, Pop and Latin Jazz/Bossa Nova. We are always open to requests, and will play whatever you ask for, as long as you give us a couple weeks notice before your event (just so we can polish up on our arrangement)! We are a really charming, engaging trio. Cornelius (Guitar), who often takes compère duties, is the host of a very popular Gypsy Jazz related podcast! Tobie (Violin) is the director of the big London Gypsy Jazz festival, as well as a record label dedicated to the genre.
