I have been performing solo sax at many type of events for over 10 years and playing with various bands/duos performing in the UK and overseas since the age of 13. I thoroughly enjoy working at venues for weddings, birthday celebrations, corporate functions etc and love to engage with the audience. I play solo with my own PA and backing tracks for reception drinks or with a DJ for parties and functions. I am also available to dep in bands of any type, either with or without reading parts. I pride myself on giving a great all round service to my clients, considering carefully my playlist, appearance, and any requests/preferences. I can roam around if require and can take first dance requests.

Drinks Reception + Evening

This package includes my solo sax set for drinks reception (usually around 1.5 hours) plus 3 x 45 minute sets with your DJ in the evening. All waiting time, set up and sound checks and some travel included.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients enjoy the wide range of tracks I play. They also love that I join them on the dance floor or roam around guests as I memorise all my music.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Many hotels and restaurants, including, The Ivy, Crazy Bear, The Dorchester, Chewton Glen, Marriott and on cruise ships.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

David Sanborn and Charlie Parker!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

James Martin Supercar Sunday!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always allow flexibility in my timings, but please check with me to ensure I can accommodate the change

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can source a DJ for full evening entertainment. For reception style events, I can play music in my breaks through my own PA

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually like 1 hour prior to guests arriving in the space. Some events vary so please get in touch if you would like to talk through the timings of the event.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You are welcome to choose your favourites.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring everything needed for my solo work and microphone and cables for DJ with DJ’s

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I am happy to learn anything new if I don’t already have it in my set, just ask!
