Simon is a vocalist with nearly 20 years of singing experience. I have performed gigs and shows in pubs, clubs, stage shows and full on festivals! I am versatile and can cover songs from most popular music eras; I would say that my favourite decades wouldbe the 80s & 90s. I have a background in musical theatre and AmDram, but I never attended any sort of Performing Arts course - it's just that entertaining people is something I've always loved to do from a very early age ( I remember being able to sing all the Jungle Book songs when I was about 4 years old.....). As I got older I became interested in singing in a semi professional capacity and I got involved with a bit of everything to expand my experience and versatility; attending lots of karaoke, doing some musical theatre shows, a Rocky Horror Tribute show and a 4-piece rock band are among some of my many accomplishments! I mainly use backing tracks but also now incorporate acoustic guitar into my shows too. Feel free to contact me with your requirements as not only do I perform Rock & Pop songs, I also love singing the classic easy listening songs by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. so if you wanted I could do a set of each style during my performance. I have my own transport, my own equipment including full PA & light system.

Having watched Simon on many occasions as lead singer in a popular covers band, I was delighted to be able to book him as a solo artist for Seldon Village Club. He was punctual, professional and proved to be very popular with all ages. It was good that he gave choices from time to time for people and was able to sing a wide eclectic mixture of songs. He kept the dance floor busy and overall provided us with a great night. Final proof of his quality was that we have re-booked him!

Simon did a fantastic job of providing entertainment at my friend Julia's wedding. His voice and repertoire provided the atmosphere in which people felt relaxed and wanting to stay longer. His easy going nature was also very helpful for me when using his mic and speaker set up to give announcements as master of ceremonies for the day. I recommend him. Mike Pistol

What do your clients love most about your performances?

They always seem to appreciate the my delivery of the tune, I do try to sing things in my own style.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I've performed in a number of different acts over the years!! They have played venues as small as bars and clubs, village fetes, theatres, small venues and proper festivals!! Biggest has probably been performing in one the side tents at the Isle of Wight and Belladrum Festivals!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Sting, Elton John, George Michael, Billy Joel, Travis, Paul Simon, The Beatles

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Definitely the Isle of Wight Festival 2018!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Please contact me as soon as you can to discuss any changes to the initial booking.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide music to play before and between sets. If you want a proper DJ experience then please contact me to discuss.

How much time do you need to set up?

Need at least 1 to 1.5 hours setup time.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes of course!! If you have any special requests it's best to include details along with your initial enquiry, after all if you want me to try singing Opera i'm probably not your guy.....

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely!! All you need to do is provide me with a place to set up and power. I have a fully PAT-tested 2KW PA system with HK Audio column powered speakers, acoustic guitar, and lights.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I'm certainly open to taking suggestions and if I feel it's a song I can do justice, then I will try to learn it.
