The Signature String Quartet consists of Hannah, Helen, Pip and Mike, all of whom are full-time professional musicians, classically-trained to degree level at the Birmingham Conservatoire (School of Music). We have had the pleasure of performing as a string quartet for more than 15 years, providing entertainment for weddings, corporate events, birthdays and more across the Midlands and beyond. Individually, the players have performed alongside such high profile acts as Dionne Warwick, Gloria Estefan, Alfie Boe, Michael Ball, Il Divo and Katherine Jenkins to name but a few. Venues have included the Albert Hall, the O2, Symphony Hall and Wembley Arena. We have a huge selection of repertoire from classical right through to today's chart hits. You are welcome to make your own playlist from our song list or give us an idea of the kind of music you like and we'll do the rest! If you have a song in mind that we don't already have, we will do our very best to source this for you and learn in time for your special day

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

As long as we have a couple of weeks notice and all the players are available, we are more than happy to extend our booking time!

How much time do you need to set up?

We arrive 30 minutes before we are due to play. It would be much appreciated if the venue can be informed to set out 4 chairs for us to use.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course! You can either make your own playlist from our repertoire or give us an idea of the kind of songs you like and we'll do the rest!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes - no other equipment necessary other than our instruments, music stands and sheet music.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

We would need a minimum of 4 weeks notice if you would like a song performed that we don't already have. This is to enable us to source the sheet music or have it arranged for string quartet professionally. This would incur an additional fee depending on availability.
