Danielle & Sebastian

Danielle Jones founded the ensemble in 2014 having initially grown up in Penzance, Cornwall before embarking on her cello studies at Chethams School of Music in Manchester before graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music with postgraduate degree under the tutelage of Eduardo Vassallo. She has regularly performed around the U.K. with various chamber ensembles and for high end commercial engagements including appearances on the X Factor, BBC radio and at Bridgewater Hall. Based in Cornwall since 2014, Danielle teaches students aged 4-91, runs regular workshops and has a continued involvement with a number of youth orchestras complimenting a busy performing schedule. Seb Poznansky also grew up in St Ives, Cornwall before studying the cello at both the Royal Welsh College and the Royal College of Music, completing his studies with renowned pedagogue Helene Dautry and earning a postgraduate degree. Seb has performed and travelled around the world, teaching and performing in the Cayman Islands for 6 years before returning to Cornwall to reside in 2017. In recent years Seb has performed around the U.K. and undertaken examining tours for Trinity College London in India, Ireland, Vietnam, Jamaica, Bahamas, Trinidad, Antigua and Malaysia.
