At an early age, Sarah won a scholarship to the High Wycombe Music Centre and studied violin with George Bent. She then furthered her musical career at York St John University where she gained invaluable string knowledge from Herbert Whone former BBC Symphony Orchestra and deputy leader of the Scottish National Orchestra. After gaining a BA Hons in Music and Drama and a PGCE she then trained at Drama Studio London and spent eleven years working as an Actor Musician touring in number 1 theatres throughout the UK and in the middle east. She performed in the West End in Stephen Sondheim's musical Sweeney Todd. Sarah currently lives in Cheshire with her family and leads Quartet Cabaret String Quartet, giving concerts and performances. She teaches privately and in schools locally.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows:- Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello. We also perform as a violin duo, or as a solo violin with backing tracks

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let us know.

How much time do you need to set up?

We can be set up in ten minutes but we always aim to arrive an hour before the start of the performance.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

You are entirely free to choose the songs you would like to hear or you can leave it up to us to play what we find suitable for the occasion. We are happy to chat through and make sure you are happy with what we have chosen.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

All we require is 4 armless chairs and a space of 7x7ft in which to play in. We will bring the rests

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you and can source the music. We can also have a song especially commissioned for a small fee.

What do your clients love most about your performances?
