Sara Oschlag

We hired Sara as a native Danish speaker to sing at our mum's funeral. Mum was born in Denmark and came to the UK to marry our dad. Sara went well beyond what we were looking for. Her contribution to mum's funeral lifted the celebration of mum's life to another level. Her singing was really beautiful, and you could see that she put her heart into it. It was lovely that everybody there was able to connect with mum's roots through her first song in Danish. She also closed the service with a song (Going Home) based on Dvorak's New World Symphony. Sara had to learn this specially for the service, and the way she sang it brought out the beauty, poignancy and simplicity of the piece. Several guests have told us that mum's funeral was a truly special occasion, and that Sara's contribution helped to make mum's final farewell an uplifting experience. We as a family would thoroughly recommend her.

Sarah and her musicians were very good . She arranged everything her end for us and was very easy to communicate with. We were able to make requests and the only disappointment we had was that on the night we weren’t able to enjoy the music as much as we would have liked!! This is no reflection on Sarah & co as they were booked as as ‘background singers by ourselves and there was a lot of chatting all evening . I only in fact ‘heard ‘ one of the special requests but that’s not surprising as it was a busy evening ! I would recommend her !
