The Soul City Renegades are a great live act that will grab your attention. This versatile group of musicians takes you through an evening of very entertaining Soul, Funk, and Reggae from the 70s and 80s. Delivering with power, passion, and enthusiasm, they have become accustomed to hearing comments about how they “really helped make the evening”. Being a very professional outfit with a wealth of musical experience, their frontman and bandleader Emil has done sessions and toured with the likes of Paul Weller, Blur, M People, and more. Through these associations, he has performed at venues such as Wembley Arena, Royal Albert Hall, Radio One roadshows, Twickenham Rugby Ground, and Old Trafford Football Ground. He's also performed internationally in cities like San Francisco, New York, Hamburg, Athens, Madrid, etc. Other members have played with Boney M and Real Thing.
