I was brought up in Denmark and settled in the UK in 2003. I am now a British Citizen settled in West Yorkshire. I completed my music degree at Leeds College of Music in 2008 studying jazz. Until then I was influenced by other styles, namely country, pop/rock, acoustic and gospel. Studying jazz opened up so many new paths and ways to explore music. I learnt to improvise and this became an important approach to my music. Since then I have acquired more folk influences and you will often find me jamming with other musicians at local sessions. I play how I feel and the song choices I make, usually have a personal connection to me or my life. Since summer 2017 I embarked on my solo career as piano vocalist and restarted my songwriting. I released my Unicorn EP 2020 and continuing my songwriting to release my own album.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My audiences love my song choices and renditions of well known songs. My piano playing often has a calming effect and my voice sounds unique.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Please keep me informed as soon as you know. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event, just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate changes.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

If you got a specific playlist you would like to play before and after sets, I have facility for you to plug in your device to my PA.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually setup up to 1 hour before performance time. Setup takes no more than 20-30mins depending on how much gear is required.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it. I can provide an extra mic, if it is acoustic and needs to be amplified.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, you are very welcome to choose what songs works best for your event and venue. I carefully put set lists together to suit every occasion. I am also happy to learn new songs at your request, preferably with at least 2 weeks notice.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, absolutely! I always bring my own instruments to play acoustically.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes I really enjoy learning new material and expanding my repertoire. If there is a special song or two you'd like me to learn, I am happy to do this for you. If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. Please give as much notice as possible to take rehearsal time into account.
