We are English manouche and the music of jazz (especially that of Django Reinhardt) pumps through our veins. We have been listening to this music since birth and we learn to play at a really young age. As far as I am aware we are the only current genuine Sinti gypsy jazz band available for hire in the uk, our lead guitarist is a sensation in the world of Jazz, young Amos Dean who is 14 years old and is taking the jazz scene by storm, having been invited to Samois this year, playing gigs at the old con club, jamming at le QuecumBar Battersea or performing with swing train at the dockland market London, Amos has already shown what true manouche music is all about, it isn’t paper and pen but ear, heart and hand.
