Roberto performs on a variety of instruments including Acoustic and electric Guitars, Weissenborn, Vichitra Veena, baritone 8 strings guitars, dobro, banjo and bouzouki. Biography With more than 20 years in activity Roberto has performed all over Europe and USA in solo and with several artist. His show it’s a mix of Mediterranean music with a Rock and Roll sensibility that astonishes audiences. 13th March 2017 release “Raighes Vol 2” phisically distributed in Italy by I.R.D. , by Birnam in UK and by Alliance in US. The record has been acclaimed by the International press, 5 Stars on the UK Rock and Reel (R2), won an Akademia Music Award and has been put forward for a Grammy Awards Nomination in the Category “Best Contemporary Instrumental Album”. September 2012 he released his solo record “Raighes Vol 1” (“Roots” in the Sardinian language) rated as one of the best instrumental album of the year for the music magazines/webzines: Mescalina (IT), Buscadero (IT), Akustik Gitarren (DE), Guitar Club (IT), The Real Roots Café (NL) , R2 (UK) and others. He toured “Raighes Vol. 1 Solo Tour” Internationally (USA, Scotland, Luxembourg, UK, Germany and Italy) and played also at The Troubadour in London and at the world famous Whisky a go go in Los Angeles where he record his Live DVD released May 2015. In 2016, released ‘Note Millenarie’, a live DVD filmed under the 4,000-year-old Olivaster Tree in Luras. Also in 2016, became a voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammy Awards) and get his secodn nomination at the 16th Independent Music Awards with his live EP, ‘Live at the Whisky a Go Go.’ In June of 2016, he collaborated with the Scottish songwriter Donald MacNeill to release an album called ‘Timeline’, which was reviewed very well by some of the most prominent music magazines in the United Kingdom and Europe. Rock and Reel (R2) rated the album four out of five stars, and they were but one of several publications that lauded the record. (Folk Words even made it their ‘album of the month’ in July.) The two artists toured Scotland, Italy, and Sardinia. Roberto has been invited to play at some of the most important trade fairs in the world, including the NAMM Show (Los Angeles), MusikMesse (Francoforte), Disma , SHG (Milano), ADGPA Italy and Acoustic Guitars International Meeting (Sarzana). Endorsed by different brands of guitar tools (Elixir Strings, Seymour Duncan Pickups, Reference Laboratoy Cables, MN Guitars, Fret-King e Vintage for StefyLine and Anderwood Guitars Weissenborn). Roberto is a subtle yet powerful guitarist, equally at ease in both electric and acoustic settings. From 2008 till 2016 Roberto plays with roots rock band Lowlands and, to date, has toured internationally, recorded and co-produced six albums with them. Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is really Simple. A duo with Violin and Acoustic Guitar. During the concerts, we perform different instruments too, like Weissenborn and Indian Tanpura.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £200.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we (Normally 30mins) can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes - we either perform acoustically or with microphones attached to our instruments so we can move around freely.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system could be included in your quote. It depends on the venue. Please reach us out to have more information.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £80 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our concerts are journeys through every kind of emotion. People, it's always very moved and touched after a concert.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed all over the World, Italy, Sardinia, UK, Scotland, Europe, United States and Asia. In any kind of Venue, Small and Intimate clubs like "The Troubadour in London" or biggest like "The Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles". A lot of outdoor concerts in some of the beautiful place in the world "Olivastro Millenario", "Dolmen" and "Domus De Janas".

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Several Genre and Musicians from Classical, Rock, Pop, World, Folk and Jazz.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

- Some big Festivals in Italy and Scotland. - I have performed a few times in Main Stages at Namm Show in Los Angeles. - Sold Out Theatres But I love also the intimacy of some House Concerts.
