Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I think my voice has always impressed people, I'm committed to making my act the best it can be for each particular event and I will always try to be as accommodating as I possibly can be. Ultimately though I enjoy what I do and I think that really comes across in my performance and rubs off on the audience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have played in venues all over the UK as well as abroad for the last decade. I have performed at a lot of wedding venues, pubs and restaurants, music venues and festivals, town/village halls as well as private houses/gardens.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have many influences - I was brought up on classic rock (Eagles, Queen, Bon Jovi, Thin Lizzy, The Beatles etc) which definitely had an affect on me, but vocally I'd say I am more influenced by artists such as Kings of Leon, Paolo Nutini (who I'm often told my voice resembles) and more soulful vocalists.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

With the first band I was in we entered a national competition which we reached the final of that was held at the O2 in London. I have also played numerous festivals to crowds of thousands.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event then just let me know - obviously the more notice you can give me the better.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via my PA after the final set until the venue closes, I can provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually allow myself around 1 hour before my performance time to set up. As soon as the PA is set up I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere before my first set.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I try to keep a varied mix of songs in my set list that I have crafted from countless performances and learning what works best in a live setting. However, if there are particular songs you definitely want/don't want then I'm happy to chat through that with you and make sure we find what works best for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, my act is completely self contained so I will bring everything I require to play - I just need access to some power to plug everything in.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn especially for your event then I'd also be happy to do this. There is a fee of £50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
