Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Clients often comment on the warm, relaxed atmosphere I create, my clear vocals, and my ability to read the room. They appreciate the balance of professional delivery with a natural, personal touch that puts guests at ease.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I’ve performed at a wide range of venues across Ireland, including hotels, country houses, restaurants, private homes, castles, outdoor spaces etc
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I'm influenced by artists like John Mayer, Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Coldplay, Radiohead, Simon & Garfunkel – songwriters with a strong lyrical core and an emphasis on authentic acoustic performance.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Not necessarily "high profile", but I've performed at some truly beautiful venues for castle weddings and the likes. I strive to generate a unique musical atmosphere to match the natural vibe of any particular event and venue.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I understand that plans can shift on the day. I’ll do my best to accommodate any changes to timings as long as I'm given reasonable notice. Just keep me informed and I’ll work with you to make sure the music fits smoothly into your schedule.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes, I can play background music through my PA before, between, and after my live sets.
How much time do you need to set up?
I usually need around 20–30 minutes to set up and soundcheck. I always aim to arrive early to ensure everything’s ready before your guests arrive, with minimal disruption.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Absolutely – I’m happy to tailor the set list to your preferences. Let me know your favourites in advance and I’ll do my best to include them. I can also guide you if you're not sure what will suit the atmosphere.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, I bring all the necessary equipment for my performance, including a high-quality PA system. All I require is access to a standard power socket and a small performance area.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Yes, I’m happy to learn a special song or two for your event, such as a first dance or a meaningful tune. There is a modest additional charge for this, to cover the extra rehearsal time it entails.
