I am a multi instrumentalist specialising in drums and bass guitar work achieving grade 8 standard. I have worked as a session musician and also as house musician for a number theatre productions and live artists. I am currently the recording and touring drummer for The LA Band (Laura Astons backing band) and have recently taken on the MD role to coordinate the musical production of her upcoming tour dates. Rich was hired at short notice as a dep drummer for a NYE gig due to our drummer becoming sick. He was professional and punctual and got the job done. Due to the short notice and lack of rehearsal time Rich had a detailed phone call with the band to discuss our requirements, the set list and song arrangements. When he arrived at the show he had prepared some music charts to play from to ensure that everything went smoothly. Rich was able to entertain the crowd and play as if he had been with our band for years, including adding some background mg vocals. Very professional and courteous. I would recommend him, and use him again.
