Reis is also a composer and has had his music featured on air the BBC. Reis has travelled the globe with performing his music with concerts in Seattle USA, Berlin Germany, Atlanta USA, Oslo Norway. Reis has recently returned his focus to performing at Weddings across the UK with enough romantic material to serenade the special couple on their treasured day. With Repertoire ranging from the ever popular classics Pachelbel's 'Canon in D', Debussy 'Clair de lune' and Ludovico Einaudi's 'I Giorni' & Yiruma's 'River Flows in You' to popular pieces such as Van Morrison 'Have I told you lately' and Percy Sledge 'When a Man Loves A Woman'. Most recently performing a rendition of Romeo and Juliet as he played 'Kissing You' by Des'ree. I can’t recommend Reis enough. I first heard him play at the theatre in Birmingham. After loosing our beautiful daughter of 20 years who loved the theatre we knew we wanted him to play at her funeral wake. He was so professional from the moment we made contact, to the songs he played. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again for any occasion and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you for lighting up the room on the darkest day of our lives.

Quite simply the most amazing pianist and charming young man. We were so lucky to have him play at our wedding blessing. Reis is able to judge the mood of the crowd and venue perfectly ... everything he played was magical. I can't recommend him enough.

Words Unspoken is the stunning debut album from Reis Taylor Dixon, a British pianist/composer that I met earlier this year at the annual Whisperings Solo Piano Radio weekend near Seattle, WA. He gave me a copy of his album over breakfast before we all headed home, and if I’d had any idea of how good it is, I would have listened to it on the drive back to the Oregon Coast - probably all 6 1/2 hours of the drive!

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I tend to usually free up my whole day for a booking so it should not be an issue but please do let me know as early as possible if timings have changed.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can if that is requested, I have my speakers that I can easily hook up to my iphone/ipod and play any music requested.

How much time do you need to set up?

If I am required to bring my own keyboard + equipment then my setup time is around 30 minutes from carrying to the car and setting up.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes of course as long as you like the sound of it yourself whether it be in tune or slightly out of tune. But of course for the best sound and performance I would recommend it tuned.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course I can provide a complete set list of material. However I also compose my own pieces and improvise too!

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes the keyboard I have is a top of the range Roland RD-700GX. with two yamaha speakers and stands. Please note I charge a little extra for bringing my own equipment as it requires a great deal of effort in setting up and taking down.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I can given we have a few weeks before the event. Depending on the song/s there is a fee from £25-50 due to rehearsal time needed to perfect the piece for you.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The amount of depth and emotion I am able to harness into my performances. I am always told that I captivate my audience and that my passion for creating music really shines through into my playing.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The most high profiled gig I have performed would be most recent performance in Atlanta, Georgia USA. I was able to play for many of my icons in the audience including 'Robin Spielberg' which meant the world to me. To have her come up to me and ask for me to sign a copy of my debut album for her is an experience that I will treasure forever.
