Rebecca the Harpist

Rebecca is a highly accomplished harpist with a wealth of experience: from Bach to Beyoncé (via Bollywood!) She is an internationally renowned soloist, dedicated teacher, orchestral performer and recording artist, and has worked with artists such as Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins, Lesley Garrett, Charlotte Church and Blossoms. ​ Classically trained, Rebecca was awarded a position at the prestigious Chetham's School of Music and continued her studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with Eira Lynn Jones. ​ Her notable performances include a live TV appearance on ITV’s Coronation Street, Manchester Camerata tour in 2022 to Saudi Arabia and other orchestral concerts throughout Europe, live broadcasts for S4C with her harp quartet, a unique concert under the dinosaur in the Natural History Museum in London, as well as the 60th birthday celebrations for HRH the Prince of Wales at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. Rebecca is a core musician for Lime Arts playing every week in hospitals across the North West with her Harp-E. She has also been a regular performer for the charity 'Music in Hospital and Care' for over 17 years and continues to bring live music to those who need it most. ​ She has sailed the high seas performing in over 85 different countries on the Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, P&O, Royal Caribbean, Saga, Fred Olsen and many other beautiful ships with her own electric harp show ‘Have Harp, Will Travel’. Rebecca regularly performs on her majestic full-sized Lyon & Healy classical pedal harp, her 34-string Celtic folk harp & her stunning white electronic Camac harp.
