PlusOne are a three piece band that play everything from jazz to pop and soul (and everything in between!). The lineup is Male Vocals/Guitar, Male Vocals/Keyboards supported by Upright Bass for jazz/Electric Bass and grooves for pop and soul! We are based in Altrincham, Cheshire where we met at school in 1980 and have been working as professional musicians since we left school in 1985. You may have seen us playing at a bar, a party, or hotel lobby somewhere in the world or maybe supporting a big group like Heaven 17, Go West or Jamming with the Doobie Brothers even the Beach Boys. Famous places we have played include: The Royal Albert Hall London, Royal Festival Hall London, Free Trade Hall Manchester and The Grieg Hall Bergen. We perform at corporate functions for clients such as BT Plc, International Hotels Plc and Cheshire Cat Pubs & Bars Ltd.

Just a quick note to say what a brilliant night and a good deal of that was down to the music you provided. From the background sound during the reception, to easy listening during eating, to cranking it up and getting everyone including the groom who normally refuses to dance, boogying!! From 6 year olds to dad dancers (i.e. me) the music appealed to all. A big thank you. I would recommend you to anyone who wants a professional Trio who sound like a 6 piece band.

Do you have different line-up options?

Although our setup includes drum backing tracks to keep the dancefloor happy, please don't hesitate to let us know if you'd like a live drummer.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course! - we can play an iPod playlist that fits our repertoire or whatever you fancy!

How much time do you need to set up?

We're well versed in loading into your venue and setting up in a tidy manner and performing a very fast soundcheck in less than an hour usually.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Unfortunately, we currently don't have wireless equipment that allows this.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course! - We always 'play the room' so we'll always perform songs that are perfect for that point of the event but if you want anything in particular then just let us know!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We bring and setup a PA that cover large rooms if needed but feel free to check with us if you have a particularly large venue. We don't have a lighting rig currently but most venues and functions lighting is usually really good.
