With 13 years of experience playing the bagpipes, he has honed his craft to become a respected figure in the world of military music. Throughout his career, Pipe Major Roberts has had the honor of performing at numerous high-profile events, showcasing his exceptional talent and passion for traditional Scottish music. His journey with the bagpipes began as a young enthusiast, and over the years, he has completed his piping qualifications, completing his Pipe Major Course at The Army School of Bagpipe Music gaining a Distinction in musical theory and A Grade in playing. As a Pipe Major, he not only leads his band with skill and authority but also inspires fellow musicians to uphold the traditions and values of their regiment.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

From the uniform to the piping. Due to my time in the army, professionalism is to the highest standard.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed all over the world to name a few,including Buckingham palace, Edinburgh Castle, New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland, Germany, Afghanistan, Somalia, Kenya, Tunisia, Falkland Islands, France and many more

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Stuart Liddle, a very well known name in the piping world who was my tutor when i was younger.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Playing at Buckingham Palace for his Majesty and the rest of the Royal Family and guests

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just let me know and i will do the best to accomodate. If I can not attend I will find a replacment piper with short notice

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No this service is not provided by a piper

How much time do you need to set up?

20 minutes to tune my pipes

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes and request for me to learn tunes

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, i bring my own pipes and equipment that i need

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely, if it can be played on the pipes i will learn
