I am an experienced and versatile pianist, having played for nearly 30 years I can cover any styles or genres you require for your wedding or event. Whether you want classical, pop/rock, jazz, film music, or any mixture of styles, I'll happily turn my hand to them. I like to offer a totally bespoke and personalised service, whereby I will learn or arrange any songs I don't yet have in my repertoire. I'll work with you to help put together the perfect selection of music to fit the mood of the event, your tastes, and also to work practically with the surroundings. I'm very well reviewed across various platforms, and I really enjoy the personal element of what I do - joining people on their special days and adding that little bit of extra special musical magic to enhance the day is what I love doing the most. I am available for all kinds of events, i primarily play weddings but have played for funerals, dinner parties, and even given full concerts. Fantastic Wedding Pianist. Could not recommend Matt enough, the music was excellent. It made the day extra special and we received lots of comments from our guests complimenting the music. Matt was really helpful before the day in helping us to choose the background and ceremony music. (10 / 10)

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I will do everything I can to make your event absolutely perfect for you - I offer a totally bespoke and personalised service and don't like to stick to the same old set list of music. I'll happily help you along choosing to match your tastes, but ultimately you are able to choose whatever you like.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I've played at lots of different wedding venues across the Midlands, I've played at funeral gatherings in social club, at a christening in the middle of a forest, and even given a classical concert from a bandstand in a park!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I take influence from all streams of music, from the classical that I love through to jazz, pop, and even rock. Good music is good music, and I'll happily learn it for you.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm totally flexible to your requirements - a change of timings is not a problem at all. If the length of performance time changes significantly then we can discuss that openly and work something out.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I have access to Spotify for playing recorded music from there, however I would not consider myself a DJ.

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually only around 30 minutes.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes absolutely!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

I will work with you to put together a completely personalised set of music, no requests are off limits!

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, I bring my white digital piano setup including amplification.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes absolutely, that is what I pride myself on being able to offer.
