Peter Snipp

What a voice. True professional and great entertainer. I trained as an Opera singer at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and went on to have an international career as a principal Baritone in Paris, Antwerp, Tel Aviv, Covent Garden, Glyndebourne and in 1996 became a contract principal at English National Opera. As a session singer I have recorded many films soundtracks such as Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Life of Pi, Mary Poppins Returns, Aladdin and the latest Bond film. I have also recorded at Abbey Road Studios with Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Brubeck, Sir Paul McCartney and appeared at Wembley with Adele. My cabaret shows are dedicated to stories and music of Matt Monro, The Rat Pack and songs that have travelled from the stage to screen and into our everyday lives. My album Matt, Rat & Nat is available on all streaming platforms. I have presented my own BBC Radio 3 program on the Singers’ ability and struggles to memorise songs. I pride myself on bringing every song to life with every word clearly understood. A review: To listen to an evening of beautiful songs beautifully sung, is a feast in itself; to hear those songs presented with great wit and charm and an empathy for the original singer that will bring a tear to the eye, turns the feast into a Banquet!
