Oh Fiddlesticks!

Oh Fiddlesticks were absolutely amazing. We booked them for our wedding relatively last minute after the swing band band we'd previously booked cancelled and (despite the stress when they first cancelled) we are both so glad it worked out that way! A ceilidh was such a lovely way for all our guests to get involved, dance with people they wouldn't otherwise have interacted with and generally lose their inhibitions. And Oh Fiddlesticks are a fantastic fantastic ceilidh band! They got everyone joining in, were patient and good-humoured when our drunker friends and family struggled to learn the steps and were incredible musicians! My partner is Jewish and they threw in some klezmer music and dances as well as the traditional Irish stuff, and led a chain of people out of the dance hall and all through the venue toward the end of their set, which was a really fun touch. They were also lovely people, were very accommodating about a slightly later start time as rain had meant the day had been a bit delayed, and mingled happily with the rest of the party in between their sets. Everyone has been raving about how great they were ever since, we can't recommend them highly enough!

Wow, these guys were just great. A mixed aged and abilities wedding anniversary party was well serviced by such a talented band. Extra stars for the fact they were so fluid on the night, a real awareness of timing and getting things started. Would highly recommend and absolutely delighted with our time with the band!

We could not recommend "Oh Fiddlesticks" more.. They performed a Ceilidh for our wedding and it was a huge success! It was so nice to see people dancing and enjoying themselves again. A lot of our guest have never experienced a Ceilidh and everyone said how much they loved it! (one has requested we host one once a year 😋 ) Our guests that had experienced Celidhs before commented on how good it was, with a particular comment on how great the caller was. When I wasn't dancing, I was just looking at the dance floor with so much joy as everyone's faces were just lit up! It was suitable for guests of all ages, and the music itself was just beautiful to listen too. Highly recommend!
