The London Film Music Orchestra (formerly the Notting Hill Film Orchestra) is a professional orchestra focusing on performing music from film and television. Sisters and accomplished musicians Rossi Dusheva and Ivelina Dusheva-Martial founded the Orchestra in 2014, and in its first year the orchestra debuted to great enthusiasm from audiences.
Now in its fifth season, the Orchestra continues to perform powerful, large-scale film and television music galas to sell-out crowds. Recent performances in 2018 have drawn the largest audiences to date.
Over the past two years the Orchestra has been involved with exciting events, such as performing with headliner Stormzy at Wireless Festival, and collaborations with acclaimed British film and television composers Ilan Eshkeri (Still Alice; Young Victoria; Stardust) and lead BBC composer Chris Nicolaides.
We advocate and support the work of female artists and have premiered exciting new works from Hollywood Music in Media Award-winning composer Amanda Lee Falkenberg, and a short film score and live-orchestra screening with film composer Nicola Chang.
A vibrant Community Choir also plays a key role in the Orchestra.
