About Nigel

25 years of playing for high profile clients. Jazz, pop, Bollywood. I have a grand piano shell and Bose sound.
Pianist

Public liability insurance of £10 million
Verified profile

After leaving college I worked as a house pianist for DeVere hotels for 15 years. I was MD of Leeds Male Voice Choir for around 7 years. As MD for "John Danbury Presents" I have played for many west end stars in cabaret settings around Yorkshire and beyond. Some of my arrangements for bands have been broadcast on BBC Radio 2. I have a vast catalogue of songs along with years of experience of playing for weddings. I have a grand piano shell, which makes an electric piano look like a grand, along with a Bose column speaker system. I can provide a microphone for announcements if needed, and also facility to play tracks from an ipad etc. I have been house pianist for Leeds Mumtaz restaurant, where I added Bollywood songs to my repertoire. I have played for Shilpa Shetty, James Khan, the Pakistan cricket team and many other famous Asian clients. I am happy to work with you to make your event special.

Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. Nigel was fantastic, all of our guests loved his music and it was just perfect. Such a polite and proffessional gentleman with a lovely range of music to choose from. We have friends that would like to book for other occasions following seeing Nigel play at our wedding. Fabulous x

Nigel was the utmost definition of a cracking gentleman. He performed brilliantly at my son's wedding and seemed like the pinnacle of pianism. We requested a walk-in song and it was beautifully delivered. I would recommend Nigel to every single one of my fellow peers, and would rebook a million times over

Nigel was fantastic from the moment I contacted him. He was polite, reliable, cooperative and went out of his way to learn new Bollywood songs that I had requested, adding a personal touch to our big day. He was able to play a variety of songs both Bollywood and English, contemporary and class throughout the course of my wedding. He created a relaxed and classy atmosphere, managing to keep my 350 guests entertained.
