Nick and Kara Beecroft

We’re Nick & Kara, a husband-and-wife acoustic duo based in Staffordshire, serving the whole of the UK. We’ve both been singing and performing for over 10 years, and music has always been a huge part of our lives. Kara trained in vocal performance and has performed across classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop and contemporary styles. Nick has worked as a versatile events musician for notable hotels and venues in London, developing a naturally soulful sound shaped by jazz, soul, pop and R&B. We love the variety that comes with performing live and never want our music to feel like a one-size-fits-all set. Our repertoire covers jazz, soul, country, pop, R&B and classics, and we’re always happy to learn songs that are particularly meaningful to our couples. We perform completely live with vocals, piano and guitar, and can provide music throughout different parts of your day, from your ceremony to drinks reception and wedding breakfast and more. We also know from our own experience just how much meaning can sit behind a wedding. We had a long-distance relationship between Texas and the UK and had to navigate COVID and travel restrictions before eventually getting married in Texas and later celebrating with our family and friends. That’s a big part of why we love performing at weddings. We know there’s a story behind every couple, and we want the music to feel like it belongs to you too. Whether it’s a song you’ve loved for years or something you’ve always imagined walking down the aisle to, we’re here to make it part of the day.
