Nick Bird

We recently hired "the word" for our wedding in Twickenham. Many of the people we contacted were slow to get back to us and some did not bother at all. I'm glad to say that the communication from Nick was excellent from the very first point of contact, and he never failed to keep me up to date with any ideas or new developments. On the big day "the word" were punctual, professional and well organised. That just leaves the music, it was brilliant! The band also performed a number for our first dance that was outside their usual repotoire which really added to the occasion. I just want to thank you and all the band for making our joint 18th and 50th birthday party such a brilliant success. We had 17 to 86 year olds and I can honestly say you had them all up dancing. The Word's performance brought them all together - it was quite incredible. The playlist you put together was perfect for the night. And the kids really appreciated mixing with the band in between sets. In my son's words - "it was the best night I've ever had" and, as for me, I can't wait to have the next party and book you again. Thanks again for your professionalism and such an electric performance.
