We booked Nice Day Out to perform at our wedding, and they were the perfect addition to our special day! After our meal and just before the DJ took over for the night, they provided an incredible live set that brought the energy up and created such a fun atmosphere, all of our friends and family were singing along and having a great time. They were exactly what we needed to keep the momentum going in that transition from dinner to dancing. Jack & Nic were also great to work with, incredibly professional and attentive to the vibe we wanted for our wedding, they even learnt our favourite song and performed it for our first dance! If you’re looking for something a bit more exciting than the typical acoustic duo, Nice Day Out will not disappoint. We can’t recommend them enough!

I had the absolute pleasure of booking Jack & Nic of Nice Day Out for our annual family gathering, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! This talented duo completely blew us away with their ability to sound like a full band while being just two musicians. Their creative use of loops, samples, and effects brought an energy and fullness to their performance that had the entire crowd on their feet. The setlist had something for everyone. Do you have different line-up options?

No - we are a duo covering: Vocals, Guitar, Drums.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. We can provide the playlist or we can plug in any phone/mp3 player into our system in between our sets up until we pack down the PA.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 2 to 2.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system are included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is an additional fee for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
