Nevis Ceilidh Band are one of Scotland's finest ceilidh bands. The band brings a contemporary and modern feel to Scottish ceilidh music that guarantees to have dance floors filled all night. All the dances are called by our experienced musicians meaning that everyone will be able to take part, from complete beginners to ceilidh experts! The band have been performing together for 10 years playing to weddings, celebrations and events across the UK. During this time, Nevis has built an excellent reputation as a high quality, professional and reliable band, suited to any event. The band can provide a full range of ceilidh dances as well as a DJ set and are more than happy to tailor their set times and playlists to your event

The band were super, and really good at getting everyone up and dancing - we had plenty of international guests who had never been to a ceilidh before, but Aileen consistently had the floor full. We've had great feedback from the Scots who grew up with these dances, as well as from those who weren't even sure what a ceilidh was at the start of the night.

Thanks to the wonderful Nevis Ceilidh Band we had a fabulous night to remember my son's 21st birthday just before lockdown 2020. I had chosen the band as I particularly liked their distinctive, clean, bright and modern sound. Once I contacted them, they replied promptly to emails and were very helpful with advice as regards how the evening might flow. In the evening they had arrived and set up well ahead of time so that the atmosphere was set as soon as the guests came into the hall. They play at a great pace and called all the dances very clearly and with great enthusiasm. This gave confidence to many of the party guests who hadn't done a ceilidh before. All the musicians joined in the spirit of the party, ate with us and chatted to the guests in their breaks. A lovely evening - made all the better by having such a super band!

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is fiddle, piano and drums but for some occasions, we can add a piper if desired!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.
