Neul Duo

Neul Duo is a London-based violin and guitar ensemble formed in 2022 by violinist June Lee and guitarist Seungyeon Lee, who met while studying at the Royal College of Music. Bringing together the contrasting yet complementary sounds of their instruments, the duo offers a distinctive musical experience, combining the elegance of classical music with the warmth and intimacy of chamber performance. Both accomplished musicians with extensive international performing experience, June and Seungyeon have performed at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and London’s Korean Cultural Centre. As a duo, they were selected for the Royal College of Music’s Professional Engagement Programme in 2023, presented a recital as part of the Korean Cultural Centre UK’s New Talents programme in 2025, and were named Kings Place Young Artists in 2026. Their performances have taken them across the UK and South Korea, including a series of concerts during their 2026 Korean tour. Neul Duo’s repertoire spans the Baroque period to the present day, featuring original works for violin and guitar alongside their own arrangements of chamber, orchestral and vocal music. Their programmes range from the timeless beauty of Bach, Schubert and Fauré to the passionate rhythms of Piazzolla and the evocative film music of Ennio Morricone and John Williams. The combination of violin and classical guitar creates a particularly intimate and expressive sound, equally suited to the atmosphere of an elegant wedding ceremony, a sophisticated drinks reception or a private concert. Whether performing a beautifully lyrical classical work, a familiar cinematic melody or a lively tango, Neul Duo brings musical sensitivity and a personal touch to every occasion. The duo’s name, Neul, meaning ‘always’ in Korean, reflects their commitment to continual artistic growth and an evolving musical dialogue. With carefully curated programmes and a shared passion for chamber music, June and Seungyeon aim to create memorable musical experiences that connect naturally with their audiences.
