Nathan Thomas Trio

The Nathan Thomas Trio is a jazz trio made up of three graduates of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The trio plays jazz standards from across the tradition, combining familiar songs with a carefully chosen repertoire of lesser-known material. Their approach is rooted in the classic jazz trio. The group has performed at Symphony Hall, Eastside Jazz Club and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, as well as at weddings, private events and other functions. Their experience as both performers and professional musicians allows them to bring the same level of musicality and attention to detail to every setting. The repertoire ranges from relaxed vocal standards and intimate ballads to more upbeat swing numbers, giving the music enough variety to carry an entire event. With piano, vocals and double bass at its centre, the Nathan Thomas Trio offers a classic sound that works particularly well for weddings, drinks receptions, dinners, corporate events and private celebrations.
