A pianist and composer from Scotland, Morven studied classical piano at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, in Glasgow. Her interests span multiple genres, including traditional folk, blues and jazz, which all influence her songs and her compositional style. Recently moving back to Edinburgh, she plays in venues across Edinburgh and Glasgow like the Jazz bar, Leith Depot, The Hug and Pint and more, playing solo and trio gigs with her three piece band Morven and the McArdles. Her interests lie not just performing, but in composition, looking to expand into writing for TV and film scoring. Her current personal projects include writing a piano concerto, as well as arranging Kapustin's book of concert etudes for piano, double bass, and drum kit.
