Minor Chord were formed in 2014 and since then they have performed in the greater British and Greek resorts. Consists of highly skilled professional musicians with lots of experience under their belt and a great love for what they do. Performing a unique blend of old and contemporary top hits from smooth jazz, swing and Bossa nova to funk and pop we fulfil every taste! Offering a flexible line up from 2 to 5 piece, perfectly fit in your event and your budget, having it as a background music or a full band that keeps your party going and have you dancing all night! The secret? Using live looping for the guitar parts, we produce an impressively full sound even when we come as a duo or trio. (Oops! Not a secret any more!) Our perfectly curated tracklist is the ideal decoration to your event from business/corporate, all the way to crazy party! And if you happen to have a special request, we are more than happy to include it in our playlist!

I was tasked with finding a band for my friend's wife’s surprise birthday party, and I couldn’t have been happier with Minor Chord. Athina’s stunning vocals and Kostas’ smooth guitar, created the perfect atmosphere for the celebration. Their performance was both elegant and lively, setting the right mood for the occasion. We received numerous compliments from the guests, who were all impressed by the beautiful sound and engaging vibe. They truly made the event unforgettable. I can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking for a top class band for their private gathering or special occasion.

Myself and my Wife got recently married and we knew how music would have had to play such an important part to our special day. We were lucky enough to know this talented duo (Athina and Kostas) and we decided to trust them to provide the musical entertainment for the entire day and I have to say, they were absolutely amazing. From the moment they began playing, it was clear that they were a perfect fit for our special day. What struck us the most about this duo was their ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and how impressive was their synergy. They engaged with the guests in a friendly and approachable manner, and their music was the perfect accompaniment to the our romantic and joyful celebration. Their repertoire was diverse and inclusive, spanning a wide range of genres and styles, including some beautiful love songs that really captured the essence of the occasion. (Athina sang for us in Italian as well!) Throughout the day, Athina and Kostas’ enthusiasm and energy never faded. They clearly had a deep love for music, and their passion was infectious. What's more, Athina and Kostas showed a great deal of care and attention to detail, particularly when it came to our special requests. They took the time to learn and rehearse several songs that were special to us, and their performance of these songs was truly heartfelt and moving. Overall, I would highly recommend this duo to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and personable group to provide entertainment for their special day. They truly went above and beyond to make the wedding a memorable and enjoyable occasion for all involved.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love our ability to create a classy yet engaging atmosphere with stunning female vocals, smooth guitar, and jazz-inspired arrangements. Our unique blend of elegance and versatility ensures every performance feels bespoke, leaving guests entertained and events unforgettable.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Over our 10-year career, we've performed at numerous 5-star hotels, including InterContinental London, The Crowne Plaza (now Hyatt hotels), Chelsea Harbour Hotel, Threadneedles London, and Sunstreet Hotel—some of which we held residencies at—as well as luxury resorts in Greece.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Our influences include jazz icons like Ella Fitzgerald and Antonio Carlos Jobim, as well as modern greats like Norah Jones and Diana Krall. We also take inspiration from Postmodern Jukebox, blending timeless sophistication with contemporary creativity for a fresh, engaging sound.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Some of our most high-profile performances include playing for the global concierge society, 'Les Clefs d'Or,' at their trade show at the InterContinental Hotel in London, and a ministerial dinner in Greece. These events highlighted our ability to deliver sophisticated music for esteemed audiences worldwide.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes, the singer is the same in all our performances. In the rare occasion of our singer being unavailable, we have a wide roster of professional singers, ready to fill in.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our core line-up consists of Vocals and Guitar. We can also provide a 3 or 4-piece line up with any of the following: Drums, Double Bass, Piano, or Sax.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We completely understand that things can change! Just let us know and we'll try our best to be flexible and adapt to your timings.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we can definitely provide free playlists in between our sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on our line up it takes us 30-60mins to set up. When performing without drums, we usually need around 30mins.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our playlists are carefully crafted from countless performances and most of the times we make adjustments during the performances, depending on what works best for each occasion. However, we are more than happy to discuss with you and make sure we include your favourite songs from our set list.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, our quotes include all PA and lighting required. We usually require a minimum of 3 by 3-meter space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely! If you have a special song you'd like us to play, we are happy to learn and perform it for you at no extra charge. For any additional special requests, there is a fee of £40 to cover rehearsal times etc.
